I let R pick out where he wanted the pictures to be taken. He wanted them near the pool and in front of the ocean, his two favorite spots. It was really adorable. Before we took the pictures, he asked me to spike his hair up so he would look "cool." I have no idea where he got that from and it's not something he tends to ask for. It made me giggle and I obliged. And apparently Brooklyn noticed!
You could also use this idea with family, both near and far. You could write a special message from the child and mail it via snail mail, or even email. You could post it on their Facebook wall! There are so many variations.
How could you implement this idea?
aww that is cute that would be cute for dating pictures too :)
ReplyDeletesorry about the name typo sometimes auto correct stinks. changed it.
I'm so glad you brought that idea up! I had totally forgotten about that potential use. In the past I've taken little pictures like that for my husband. But it's been awhile. The poor guy.
ReplyDeleteAnd no problem. I really hated even saying anything. hehe. I'm just thrilled that you featured me. Thank you!
Thanks for reminding me about this simple yet adorable pen pal mail! Most of my family is up north & I know they would love getting something like this in the mail! :)

This reminds me of the chalkboard bubble I keep meaning to make. I bought the foam core and have the chalkboard paint. Saw it on pinterest and wanted to make it for the 1st day of school - ugh! - maybe by halloween??
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
ReplyDeleteAnd that chalkboard bubble sounds genius! I'll have to check into that. Let me know when you get it done, Deanna!
